Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. The attorney will handle a heavy, complex caseload and hearings, contributing to building a statewide workers’ compensation presence for the firm.

The role requires a law degree, active NC State Bar membership, and a minimum of 3+ years in workers' compensation, with strong writing and oral advocacy, client service, and the ability to manage high volumes of cases

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active NC State Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, motions and memoranda
• Guide clients through the case process
• Interaction with expert witnesses including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings and court appearances
