Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to lead design, configuration, and optimization of Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada. You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and IT to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.

The role requires deep Workday Payroll expertise, strong problem-solving, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a complex multi-state payroll environment. Travel is minimal; a certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent).
• Five or more years in HRIS with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration for complex environments.
• Experience supporting multi-state and multi-country payroll operations. Workday Payroll Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, and IT to translate requirements into Workday solutions.
• Analyze issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable improvements.
• Lead Workday testing for releases, updates, and new functionality; validate in test tenants.
