Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to lead design, configuration, and optimization of Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.

You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and IT to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions, analyze complex issues, and drive continuous improvement across a multi‑state environment. Ideal candidates have strong Workday Payroll expertise, experience with testing, and a track record of delivering compliant,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 5+ years HRIS experience with hands‑on Workday Payroll configuration
• 5+ years experience supporting large multi‑state or multi‑country payrolls
• Workday Payroll Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain and optimize Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Time Tracking and IT to translate requirements into Workday solutions.
• Analyze issues, perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.
• Lead Workday testing activities and validate changes in test tenants.
• Support payroll configurations across Workday modules and reporting."
• Identify enhancements and automation opportunities to improve payroll operations
