Job summary

Guild is seeking a Senior Manager, People Tech to own Workday configuration, administration, and day-to-day operation across People Systems. You will partner with stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver scalable solutions with a focus on reliability and data integrity.

The role offers a competitive base salary ($150,000–$190,000) plus stock options, and may be remote within the US. You will lead a small team, drive continuous improvement, and support audits with SOC II knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years configuring, administering, and supporting enterprise systems within a functional area.
• Proven track record of leading improvement projects with measurable results in operational efficiency or service quality.
• Strong understanding of business processes, with the ability to translate requirements into scalable system configurations.
• Experience leading and developing a small team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Knowledge of SOC II compliance and experience supporting internal and external audits with access and change controls.
• Knowledge of Agile or other iterative project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Workday Ownership: Own the configuration, administration, and day-to-day operation of the systems, ensuring reliability, data integrity, and alignment to business processes.
• System Configuration and Support: Design, configure, and maintain system functionality, diagnose and resolve issues, and deliver enhancements and releases for the systems in scope.
• Requirements and Solution Delivery: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend solutions within the functional area, and ensure quality through testing.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process and automation improvements within the functional area, and stay current on system updates and releases.
