Job summary

ICU Medical is seeking a remote Workday Configuration & solution design expert to support the global HRIS implementation. You will collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance to capture Core HCM requirements, validate functionality, and ensure compliant, scalable Workday deployment.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end design, data integrity, reporting development, and post-go-live support while maintaining governance and change control. Strong communication and project mgmt skills are essential.

Qualifications

Workday certifications (HCM, Compensation, Talent and/or Integrations strongly preferred).
Experience with Workday integrations (e.g., Studio, EIB, APIs).
Familiarity with reporting tools, SQL, or advanced analytics concepts.
Standing up an established or maturing HRIS governance model centered around Workday.
Experience enabling a centralized Tier 1-2 support model with Workday Help.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, including negotiation and influencing skills.
Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic environment.
Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

Lead Workday configuration and end-to-end solution design for Core HCM, Talent, Compensation and Integrations.
Post go-live leadership ensuring scalability, usability, and compliance.
Define and enforce configuration standards, naming conventions, and design principles.
Anticipate downstream impacts and design for integrations, reporting, and data integrity.
Ensure design decisions align with global HR tech architecture and future integrations.
Act as a trusted advisor to HR, COEs, IT, Finance, and business leaders.
Translate ambiguous requirements into clear options with trade-offs.
Own demand intake, prioritization, and decision frameworks; govern HRIS processes.
Provide Tier 1-2 HR Help support and drive global consistency with regional nuances.
Lead complex Workday initiatives from design through deployment and ensure on-time delivery.
Identify automation opportunities across HR processes and build advanced reports/dashboards.
Maintain data integrity and usability across stakeholders.
