Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Configuration Professional to partner with HR, Talent, Performance, Technology, and stakeholders to design, configure, test, implement, and support scalable Workday solutions that enhance the associate experience.

This role leads requirements gathering, solution design, impact assessments, and configuration activities, while guiding cross-functional teams to maintain governance, release management, and continuous optimization of Workday Talent and Performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience configuring and supporting HR technology solutions, including at least 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
• Experience configuring and supporting Workday Talent and Performance functionality, including one or more: Performance Management, Goals, Feedback, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Skills.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Workday business processes, condition rules, notifications, security considerations, and related framework components.
• Experience supporting testing activities (unit testing, SIT, UAT, production validation) with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, impact assessments, and configuration activities.
• Partner with IT and integration teams on design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Support governance activities including release management, testing, documentation, and change control.
