Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Workday HCM Core Consultant for the Lansing, MI area. The role requires extensive hands-on Workday Core HCM experience, including Hire, Pre-Hire, Onboarding, Change Job and Termination.

You will design complex business processes, configure security, and build advanced Workday reports. The candidate should be proficient in Core HCM configuration, security models, and have familiarity with Absence/Time Tracking and integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Workday Core HCM experience, including Hire, Pre-Hire, Onboarding, Change Job, and Termination.
• Experience designing and configuring complex business processes with steps, conditions, approvals, validations, notifications, and routing.
• Solid understanding of Workday security: domain, role-based access, organization-based access; experience with segment-based/intersection security.
• Ability to create calculated fields and build advanced Workday reports, including complex and Matrix reports.
• Understanding of how Core HCM config connects with organizations, staffing, and the employee lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Workday Absence and Time Tracking; deep expertise not required.
• Some familiarity with Workday integrations and integration security.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Workday HCM core configuration projects for clients.
• Design and implement end-to-end business processes within Workday HCM.
• Configure security model, roles, and access controls per client org.
• Develop complex Workday reports and calculated fields for analytics.
• Integrate Workday with external systems where needed and ensure security compliance.
• Collaborate with clients and team to meet project milestones.
