Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC in California seeks a Lead Workday HCM specialist to optimize Core HCM configurations, security, and reporting.

You will design complex business processes, implement calculated fields, and work with Absence, Time Tracking, and integrations to support the employee lifecycle. On-site in Menlo Park, CA.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Hire, Onboarding, Change Job, Termination, and strong security controls across domains.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Workday Core HCM experience including Hire, Pre-Hire, Onboarding, Change Job, Termination etc.
• Experience designing and configuring complex business processes with steps, conditions, approvals, validations, notifications, routing.
• Strong understanding of Workday security: domain/organization access, RBAC, segmentation/security.
• Ability to create calculated fields and build advanced Workday reports, including complex and Metrix reports.
• Understanding of how Core HCM connects with organizations, staffing, and employee lifecycle.

Job description

• Strong hands-on Workday Core HCM experience, including Hire, Pre-Hire, Onboarding, Change Job, and Termination etc.
• Experience designing and configuring complex business processes from the ground up, including business process steps, conditions, approvals, validations, notifications, and routing.
• Strong understanding of Workday security, including domain and business process security, role-based access, and organization-based access. Experience with segment-based and intersection security etc.
• Ability to create calculated fields and build advanced Workday reports, including complex and Metrix reports.
• Understanding of how Core HCM configuration connects with organizations, staffing, and the broader employee lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of Workday Absence and Time Tracking; deep expertise in these areas is not required.
• Some familiarity with Workday integrations and integration security.
