• Strong understanding of jacket engineering and construction, able to design products based on how they function and are built—not just appearance.
• Deep knowledge of women’s fit, proportion, silhouette, fabrication, insulation and functional components.
• Ability to merge technical functionality with feminine design and commercial appeal.
• Strong understanding of cost engineering and collaboration with manufacturing partners to hit target costs without compromising quality or aesthetics.
• High commercial and market awareness, capable of identifying opportunities via trend, consumer and competitive insights.
• Forward-thinking approach to technology, including the use of AI in design and development processes; hands-on with AI tools.
• Portfolio must demonstrate substantial Women’s Outerwear experience with technical construction, fit and finished products.

Aufgaben

• Own the creative direction and development of Women’s technical and performance outerwear categories.
• Produce technical drawings, detailed tech packs and garment construction details to communicate design intent.
• Select and apply appropriate outerwear materials, insulation systems and trims based on product needs.
• Develop silhouettes balancing women’s fit and proportion with technical performance while maintaining a feminine, commercial look.
• Monitor the marketplace through trend, consumer and competitive research and translate findings into new silhouettes, materials and features.
• Collaborate with Production teams and overseas manufacturing partners to evaluate costing and identify cost optimization opportunities across materials and construction.
• Find cost efficiencies while ensuring product quality, functionality and design intent are maintained.
• Incorporate AI-powered technology into the daily design and development process for concept creation, trend analysis and color development.
• Research and evaluate new AI design technologies to enhance outerwear development.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Merchandising, Production and overseas factories throughout the product lifecycle.
