Job summary

Pillar Innovations, LLC is seeking a Tower Technician III - Wireless Services to safely install, repair, and upgrade equipment at communications sites, on the ground or at height. You will lead and mentor a team of up to 6 and work with the Construction Manager – Wireless Services from a designated location.

The role requires a flexible schedule, travel, and extended hours including weekends and holidays, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and staying compliant with procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing and maintaining cabling, antennas, microwave dishes, and towers.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to follow safety standards and use PPE.
• Certifications such as Authorized/ Competent Climber and Rescuer, ANSI A10.48, RF Awareness, OSHA 10.
• Read and implement tower rigging plans and complex rigging setups.

Responsibilities

• Build and upgrade wireless networks at sites including tower mods and expansions.
• Read site documents like Construction Drawings and RF Data Sheets.
• Safely perform installations and elevated work.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment and network issues.
• Document job costs and material usage accurately.
• Lead and mentor team members and assist foremen with scheduling.
• Develop rigging plans for hoisting operations per standards.
