Job summary

Pillar Innovations is seeking a Tower Technician III - Wireless Services to safely install, repair, and upgrade equipment at communications sites both on the ground and at elevated heights. The role will lead a team of up to 6 and report to the Construction Manager – Wireless Services, with a flexible schedule that may include extensive travel.

This position requires adherence to safety standards, ability to work from heights, and strong communication and mentoring skills to support project

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing and maintaining cabling, antennas, microwave dishes, tower builds, site inspections, lighting systems, wireless carriers preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to follow strict safety standards and use PPE properly.
• Willingness to travel and work at heights in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build and upgrade tower infrastructure and wireless networks.
• Lead and mentor a team of up to 6 technicians.
• Read site drawings and RF data sheets to guide work.
• Perform pre/post-work site audits and document costs.
• Operate RF sweep gear, PIM, and fiber testing equipment.
• Coordinate labor and materials with Foremen as needed.
