Job summary

Nordex Group seeks a Senior Logistics Project Manager to lead strategic planning, execution, and oversight of complex logistics for wind turbine projects across North America. You will collaborate with Project Management, Construction, Supply Chain, Engineering, HSE, and external partners to drive safe, cost-efficient deliveries.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in logistics, and 3+ years in project logistics, with up to 30% travel. English fluency is essential, French a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• PMP Certification, APICS Certification, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, project cargo, supply chain, or wind industry operations.
• Minimum 3 years of direct project logistics management experience.
• Experience with oversized and heavy-haul transportation projects.
• Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics planning and execution for complex, high-value wind energy projects across North America.
• Manage the complete logistics lifecycle including transportation planning, route studies, permitting, customs compliance, port operations, and contractor management.
• Own logistics budgets, forecasting, financial performance, and cost control for assigned projects.
• Serve as the logistics subject matter expert throughout project development, execution, and closeout.
• Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to maintain project schedules.
• Mentor junior Logistics Project Managers and Coordinators while upholding governance and best practices.
