Job summary

Nordex Group in the United States and Canada is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end wind project execution fromSales-to-Service handover. You will coordinate cross-functional teams including Commercial PM, Site, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance to deliver complex projects, manage risks, and maintain customer satisfaction.

The role requires deep NA wind execution experience, strong contractual discipline, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while protecting safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience managing complex energy, infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
• 8+ years in wind project management, wind construction, project operations, installation, logistics, commissioning, or renewable-energy project execution leadership.
• Proven track record managing multiple large-scale projects or a portfolio of major project workstreams.
• Experience interacting with customer executives, developers, owners’ engineers, construction management teams, senior internal leadership, and global stakeholders.
• Experience in mentoring or leading project managers and cross-functional project teams is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project governance across the full lifecycle, including handover, execution readiness, launcher, and handover to Service.
• Own integrated project performance, balancing HSE, quality, schedule, cost, margin, cash collection, and risk mitigation.
• Serve as primary customer interface with executives, engineers, and contractors; communicate status and decisions clearly.
• Establish and maintain project controls: baseline schedule, milestones, risk registers, and forecasting.
• Coordinate contractual obligations, change orders, and dispute avoidance with Legal/Contracts, Sourcing, and Finance.
• Support execution readiness: team structure, resource needs, site readiness, logistics, and system setup.
• Mentor and coach project team members on governance, communication, risk management, and Nordex processes.
• Travel to project sites and customer offices as required.
