Job summary

Lumen is a leader in AI-ready connectivity and wholesale telecom services, seeking a Wholesale Account Manager to drive revenue within an assigned base. You will hunt for new opportunities, expand relationships, and manage multi-threaded engagements across buyers and influencers.

In this role you’ll own pipeline, coordinate with solution engineers, and close deals while maintaining CRM discipline and accurate forecasts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B field sales experience in telecom or technology.
• Proven track record meeting/exceeding quotas with prospecting discipline.
• Knowledge of wholesale wireless, IP/data, and voice/network services.
• Strong communication, closing, and negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans focused on hunting and expansion within the base.
• Identify, qualify, bid, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities to meet targets.
• Prospect via cold calls, email, social selling, and events.
• Expand wallet share through cross-sell and upsell with sales overlay team.
• Build relationships with decision makers and influencers for strategic positioning.
• Create proposals and pricing configurations with internal teams.
• Drive end-to-end sales cycle with solution engineers and delivery coordination.
• Maintain weekly forecast and pipeline; ensure CRM hygiene.
• Provide market and customer insights to leadership on trends.
