Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's in Welding Engineering or related field with 3+ years in welding, knowledge of GMAW/GTAW/SMAW/SAW, and metallurgy insight. CWEng or CWI preferred; CAD skills beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on welding processes.
• Experience with welding techniques (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, SAW) and their applications.
• Strong knowledge of metallurgy and material properties affecting weld quality.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and welding symbols.
• AWS CWEng or CWI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize welding procedures for various manufacturing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for welding defects.
• Specify and procure welding equipment, consumables, and tooling.
• Provide technical support and training to welding technicians and production staff.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and customer specifications for welding.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for welding processes and quality.
