Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Welding/related field and 3+ years in welding in manufacturing.
• AWS CWEng or equivalent certification is required.
• Proficient in welding techniques and material welds.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and QC procedures.
• Experience with weld design and defects root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize welding procedures for manufacturing processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Specify and procure welding equipment, consumables, and automation.
• Provide technical support and training to welding technicians.
• Ensure compliance with welding codes, standards and specs.
• Lead continuous improvement to improve welding quality and cost.
