Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on welding processes.
Proficient in welding techniques GMAW, GTAW, SMAW.
Strong knowledge of metallurgy and weld quality.
Experience with NDT methods and interpreting results.
AWS/ASME knowledge or familiarity.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize welding procedures for manufacturing processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for welding defects.
Specify and qualify welding equipment, consumables, and robotic systems.
Provide technical support and training to welding technicians and production staff.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and customer specifications.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for welding quality, cost, and efficiency.
