Peppers Artful Events, a premier off-premise catering company, seeks a dynamic Wedding & Event Senior Salesperson to lead client relationships and drive revenue across Central MA, North Shore, Cape Cod, Boston, NH, CT, and RI. You will convert inquiries into booked events, craft premium proposals, and guide clients through decisions with a consultative approach.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in event sales, a proven track record of closing revenue, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in event, catering, venue, or hospitality sales.
• Proven track record of closing revenue, not just coordinating events.
• Confident in pricing discussions, negotiating terms, and closing the deal.
• Strong interpersonal instincts and credibility-building.
• Organized and detail-oriented without losing momentum.
• CRM experience; Total Party Planning, Tripleseat or comparable preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales process: respond to inbound leads, conduct client calls, tastings, and site visits; build proposals reflecting client vision and margins; close business and execute contracts.
• Build relationships that drive revenue: act as trusted advisor, maintain planner/venue partnerships, generate referrals and repeat business.
• Drive growth: prospect high-value venues, planners, and corporate accounts; maintain CRM pipeline; meet/exceed monthly and annual targets.
• Partner with operations: coordinate handoff to operations and stay engaged through execution to ensure delivery of sales commitments.
