Job summary

Fuze Health in the United States is seeking a Principal Engineer to set the architectural vision for FuzeRx and the broader platform. You will guide design across squads, shape high-volume APIs, and ensure reliability, security, and HIPAA compliance while scaling for growth.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will mentor staff, enforce engineering standards, collaborate with Product Management and Pharmacy Operations, and evaluate new AWS services to advance the FuzeRx ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in software engineering and systems design.
• Experience building and scaling distributed, high-throughput, and highly available B2B SaaS or transactional systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture for FuzeRx's core B2B and consumer platforms.
• Lead design and implementation of high-volume API integrations and complex pharmacy fulfillment logistics.
• Mentor Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers; promote engineering excellence.
• Enforce engineering standards, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and security-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering Managers, and Pharmacy Operations.
• Partner with InfoSec to ensure HIPAA and SOC2 compliance.
