Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer to define the architectural vision for FuzeRx’s core B2B and consumer platforms, guiding high-volume API integrations and distributed data systems.

You will mentor Staff and Senior engineers, set coding and testing standards, and partner with Product, Pharmacy Operations, and InfoSec to deliver secure, scalable healthcare technology compliant with HIPAA and SOC2.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in software engineering and systems design.
• Extensive background in building and scaling distributed, high-throughput B2B SaaS or transactional systems.
• Deep domain expertise in HealthTech, Digital Pharmacy, or highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture for core platforms and lead complex initiatives.
• Mentor Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers and enforce engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering Management, and Pharmacy Operations to align architecture with goals.
• Partner with InfoSec to ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliance and data privacy by design.
• Spearhead performance optimizations, latency reductions, and database efficiency.
• Evaluate new tools and AWS services via POCs to improve the ecosystem.
