Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Principal Engineer to drive the architectural vision for FuzeRx, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare platforms. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering and product, shaping the technical roadmap and best practices while mentoring senior engineers.

You will collaborate with regulatory and security groups to maintain HIPAA/SOC2 alignment and optimize performance in AWS/PostgreSQL-rich environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering and systems design experience.
• Experience building scalable, high-throughput B2B SaaS or transactional systems with HIPAA/SOC2 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture for core B2B and consumer platforms.
• Lead design and execution of high-volume API integrations and complex fulfillment workflows.
• Mentor Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers; promote design reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, testing, CI/CD, and security-by-design.
