Job summary

Fuze Health seeks a Principal Engineer to own the architectural vision of FuzeRx and related platforms. You will guide design across product squads, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-availability systems for digital pharmacy and API-powered fulfillment.

You will mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and collaborate with Product Management to align technology with clinical requirements. The role emphasizes HIPAA/SOC2 compliance and performance optimization in AWS and PostgreSQL

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of progressive, hands-on software engineering and systems design experience.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve target architecture for core B2B and consumer platforms.
Mentor Staff, Senior, and Mid-level engineers to raise engineering standards.
Enforce coding guidelines, testing frameworks, CI/CD, and security-by-design principles.
Collaborate with Product Management and Pharmacy Operations to align architecture with business goals.
Partner with InfoSec to ensure HIPAA, SOC2 compliance in system design.
Lead performance and reliability improvements across PostgreSQL and AWS.
Evaluate new tools and AWS services through proofs-of-concept.
