Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead (BCL) in the Water Business Group to mentor staff, monitor technical competencies, and drive project delivery excellence across federal water resource planning.

The successful candidate will lead or support standards, oversee staff development, recruit positions, and collaborate with market sector directors and clients to align initiatives with market drivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills; commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching.
• Serve as Quality Control lead, technical advisor, and technical lead for specific projects.
• Leading or supporting standards, guidelines, tools, checklists, workflows to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with HDR teams to align initiatives with market drivers and client needs.
