Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead (BCL) within the Water Business Group to advance water resource planning and staff development. You will collaborate with the Business Class Director and HDR peers to monitor competencies and deliver projects aligned with federal standards, driving growth and career progression.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and client engagement across multiple locations in the United States, with a focus on program delivery and quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching.
• Serve as a Quality Control lead, technical advisor, and technical lead on specific projects.
• Work with project teams to field needs and align staff to meet delivery expectations and develop strategy to promote knowledge transfer and staff development within water resource plan formulation.
• Leading or supporting Business Class sponsored standards and guidelines (i.e., best practices) technical tools, checklists, workflows, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participating in tactical planning including engagement with HDR to align initiatives with market drivers and client needs.
• Engage on specific pursuits as a lead or team member; drive industry-facing strategies.
