Waters Corporation seeks a Senior Solutions Consultant for the waters_connect platform, focusing on presales across LC and LC-MS workflows in North America. You will demo software, provide technical consultation, and guide customers from evaluation to close, partnering with sales and field teams.

The role emphasizes trusted advisory support, platform expertise, and collaboration with Product Management while travel across the United States and Canada remains extensive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in laboratory software, analytical instrumentation, mass spectrometry, laboratory informatics, scientific applications, or related technologies.
• Customer-facing experience in presales, applications, technical sales, or solution consulting roles.
• Strong presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to scientific, technical, and business audiences.
• Experience with waters_connect required; experience with UNIFI strongly preferred.
• Understanding of LC and LC-MS workflows and laboratory operations.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada (50-75%).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for waters_connect laboratory software for LC and LC-MS, supporting teams across US/Canada.
• Support waters_connect opportunities from evaluation through closure.
• Participate in customer discovery discussions to understand workflow, business, and technical requirements.
• Provide guidance on capabilities, deployment options, licensing, upgrade paths, and expansion opportunities.
• Discuss compliance, data management, and administration considerations.
• Assist commercial teams in positioning waters_connect and addressing competitive discussions.
• Deliver tailored waters_connect demonstrations aligned with workflows and objectives.
• Translate software capabilities into scientific, operational, compliance, and business value.
• Serve as a trusted resource for customer questions throughout evaluation.
• Support solution scoping, software configuration, and quoting activities.
• Act as liaison between Product Management and field; communicate updates and best practices.
• Gather Voice of Customer feedback and market trends for enhancements.
