Job summary
Waters Corporation in the United States is seeking a Principal Presales Consultant for waters_connect to act as the North American software expert for the on-premises platform supporting LC and LC-MS applications.
You will partner with Territory Account Managers, Product Management, and Professional Services to support opportunities from evaluation through close, delivering demonstrations, technical guidance, and strategic validation of deployment options and licensing considerations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field.
- 8+ years in lab software, analytical instrumentation, or informatics.
- Experience with waters_connect; UNIFI experience preferred.
- Customer-facing presales or solution consulting background.
- Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts.
- Travel 50-75% across the United States and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for waters_connect in North America.
- Support opportunities from evaluation through close.
- Conduct customer discovery and translate capabilities into value.
- Advise on deployment options, licensing, upgrades, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, ISS, and Professional Services.
- Assist with scoping, configuration, and quoting activities.
