Job summary

Halff seeks a Water and Wastewater Utilities Project Manager to join our Central Florida team, based in Tavares, Orlando, or Tampa. You will lead water and wastewater projects, coordinate design teams, and serve as the primary client contact.

The role emphasizes project leadership, mentoring staff, and active involvement in marketing and invoicing. We require 8+ years in water/wastewater planning and design, a Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering degree, and a Florida-licensed PE or ability

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater utility projects including pipeline and treatment plant planning and design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Licensed PE, preferably in Florida or able to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for projects; develop plans, specifications and other contract documents for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects (treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines).
• Act as a point of contact for clients.
• Oversee project design and manage staff; mentor less experienced positions.
• Involvement in marketing, project reporting, forecasting and client invoicing.
