Job summary

Halff is seeking a Utilities/Water-Wastewater Project Manager with a Florida PE license to join our Public Works team based in Tallahassee, FL or Panama City Beach, FL.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of municipal water/wastewater design experience and at least 1 year of project management, with strong design and leadership skills to manage design, plan production, clients, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent.
• PE License in Florida, or ability to acquire within 6 months of hire.
• 4–6 years of experience; minimum 1 year in PM.
• Experience in Florida.
• Strong knowledge in municipal utilities or water/wastewater design.
• Ability to manage projects and mentor staff.
• Experience managing design and plan production.
• Ability to manage clients and supervise technical staff.
• Positive attitude; self-directed yet a team player; focus on quality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the design and construction of municipal or private Utility projects that may include water, wastewater, or storm sewer design.
• Conduct and manage design and plan production.
• Manage clients and supervise technical staff.
• Provide training/mentorship of other engineers.
• Assist in the marketing and proposal process to acquire new projects/clients.
