Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Water and Wastewater Utilities Project Manager to sit in our Central Florida offices in Tavares, Orlando, or Tampa. You will lead projects from design through documentation, acting as the client contact and overseeing staff.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in water/wastewater projects, a PE license (Florida preferred or obtainable within 6 months), and strong leadership, communication, and business development skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater utility projects including pipeline and treatment plant planning and design.
• Licensed PE, preferably in Florida or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to work independently and make significant decisions.
• Ability to manage projects, clients, and support staff and provide technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct projects and work with the team leader on plans, specs, and contract documents for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects.
• Serve as primary client contact.
• Oversee project design and staff, and mentor less experienced positions.
• Involvement in marketing, project reporting, forecasting, and client invoicing.
