Job summary

Halff has an immediate opening for a Water and Wastewater Utilities Project Manager to sit in either of our Central Florida office locations (Tavares, Orlando, or Tampa). You will oversee project designs for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water facilities, coordinate with the team leader, and ensure successful delivery from planning through contract documents.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years’ experience, a Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering degree, and a Florida PE license (or

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience to support Water/Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and treatment plant planning and design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Licensed PE, preferably in Florida or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to work independently and make significant, effective decisions.
• Ability to manage projects, clients, and provide technical leadership to design teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Water/Wastewater treatment plant experience is a plus.
• Pump station, water storage, and pipeline design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for projects, developing plans, specifications and other contract documents for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects.
• Act as a point of contact for clients.
• Oversee project design and manage staff and mentor less experienced positions.
• Involved in marketing, project reporting, forecasting and client invoicing.
