Job summary

Inframark is seeking an experienced Senior Utility Manager to lead water and wastewater operations and maintenance across Mississippi and the Southeast. You will guide contract management, build strong teams, and drive operational excellence while maintaining client relationships and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in water and/or wastewater operations and maintenance environments.
• Experience managing teams, projects, facilities, or municipal utility operations.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and environmental requirements.
• Experience working with municipalities or public agencies is valued.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of water and wastewater operations, maintenance, and contract management.
• Develop and execute operational strategies, goals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Manage staffing, onboarding, training, and employee performance.
• Drive business growth through renewals, scope expansions, and new opportunities.
• Manage project budgets, financial performance, invoicing, and profitability.
• Liaise with municipal leaders, utility stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Support capital improvement planning and long-term infrastructure initiatives.
