Job summary

Inframark seeks a Water/Wastewater Utilities Manager in Georgia to lead the operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of municipal water and/or wastewater systems. The role serves as the primary company representative to the client and community, delivering operational excellence and trusted service.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed water/wastewater professional with strong leadership, hands-on operations, and experience managing budgets, contracts, and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Must hold the highest-level state Water or Wastewater Operator License (or reciprocity).
• 7+ years of progressively responsible municipal water/wastewater operations and maintenance experience.
• Proven success leading municipal utility operations and maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes and regulatory compliance.
• Experience interfacing with municipalities, utility boards, and regulatory agencies.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for municipal water and/or wastewater treatment operations and maintenance.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of treatment facilities and systems.
• Serve as senior operational authority and hands-on operator when needed.
• Develop and improve operating procedures, maintenance programs, and performance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement for reliability, compliance, efficiency, and customer service.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams and foster safety culture.
• Manage regulatory inspections, audits, and reporting.
