Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Design Engineer (Water or Wastewater) for our Parsippany/Sparta, NJ offices. The role is hybrid with real flexibility and focuses on hands-on design rather than project management leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of water/wastewater experience, a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, and a PE or near-term licensure. Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 plus a discretionary year-end bonus, with strong NJDEP and federal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• 5–10 years of hands-on water and wastewater design experience.
• PE license or near-term licensure (within ~12 months).
• Strong working knowledge of NJDEP regulations and federal standards (EPA, CWA, SDWA).
• Proficient in technical writing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer water and wastewater facilities, pumping stations and distribution systems.
• Perform feasibility and planning studies under EPA/NJDEP guidelines.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specs, cost estimates and contract documents.
• Coordinate regulatory permits (NJPDES, TWAs) and approvals.
• Conduct site investigations and support construction phase work.
• Collaborate across structural, civil and MEP teams and with vendors.
• Mentor junior staff on design procedures and regulatory knowledge.
