Job summary

Your Talent Team client in New Jersey is seeking a Senior Water Resources Design Engineer (Water or Wastewater) for Parsippany/Sparta with hybrid flexibility. You will design facilities to regulatory standards and lead technical work on complex projects, remaining focused on hands-on design rather than project management.

Requires 5–10 years of experience, a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree, and a PE or near-term path to licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• 5-10 years of hands-on water and wastewater design experience.
• PE license or near-term attainment within roughly six to twelve months.
• Strong knowledge of NJDEP regulations and permitting plus EPA, CWA, SDWA standards.
• Ability to produce reports and specifications with solid writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer water and wastewater facilities, pumping stations, storage, and distribution systems.
• Perform feasibility and planning studies under EPA and NJDEP guidelines.
• Prepare technical documentation: calculations, reports, specs, cost estimates, and contract docs.
