Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Project Manager to lead diverse water resources projects from proposal through construction. You will direct design and modeling efforts, coordinate with clients and agencies, and ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of experience in stormwater and/or groundwater projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to present to governmental boards and clients.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory agencies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water resources engineering projects from proposal through construction.
• Develop construction designs for water control structures and flood mitigation.
• Perform stormwater modeling analyses and design.
• Review and seal engineering drawings.
• Oversee field work and project coordination.
• Provide peer review of reports and designs.
• Liaise with clients and agencies for approvals.
• Manage project scheduling and financials.
• Supervise CAD designers and permit technicians.
• Assist in permit applications.
