Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in stormwater and/or groundwater projects.
• PE license preferred for advanced project leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Construction experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to present information to governmental boards and groups.
• Experience with stormwater routing modeling and GIS software.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies (USACE, SFWMD, FDOT) desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license required for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Participate in water resources projects at proposal, planning and execution stages.
• Lead construction design drawings for water control structures and flood mitigation.
• Understand stormwater analysis and design including modeling and mapping.
• Technical review and sealing of engineering drawings where applicable.
• Hands-on experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS and StormWise/ICPR4 modeling.
• Oversee pre-, during-, and post-construction field coordination.
• Provide peer review of reports and designs by staff.
• Liaise with clients and agencies to determine project requirements and approvals.
• Manage project scheduling and financial aspects to meet client needs.
• Supervise CAD designers and coordinate with other departments and agencies.
• Supervise permit technicians and assist in permit applications.
