Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Project Manager in Florida. Lead water resources studies, design stormwater and flood mitigation projects, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. The role requires a civil/environmental engineering background and 5+ years of stormwater experience, with PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in stormwater and/or groundwater projects preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and project permitting desired.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a variety of water resources engineering projects at the proposal, planning and execution stages.
• Lead design drawings for water control structures, flood mitigation, and water quality projects.
• Perform stormwater analysis and design including modeling, hydrogeology, and floodplain mapping.
• Review and seal engineering drawings where applicable.
• Oversee pre-, during-, and post-construction activities and coordinate field work.
