Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Project Manager for our Florida team. You will lead stormwater projects from proposal to execution, develop design drawings for water control and flood mitigation, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in stormwater and/or groundwater projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Construction experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to present information to governmental boards or directors.
• Experience with regulatory agencies (FDEP, SFWMD, USACE, FDOT).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a variety of water resources projects from proposal through execution.
• Lead conceptual, preliminary, and final construction drawings for water control structures.
• Perform stormwater analyses and design, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
• Review and seal engineering design drawings where applicable.
• Oversee field coordination and permit applications.
• Provide peer review of reports and designs.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and other departments to meet project needs.
• Manage project scheduling and financial aspects.
