Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Project Manager in Florida to lead a variety of water resources projects from proposal through execution. You will develop construction drawings for flood mitigation and water quality projects, and perform stormwater analyses and regulatory permitting with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

The role requires a PE license (preferred), strong communication, and experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in stormwater and/or groundwater projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water resources projects from proposal to execution.
• Develop construction drawings for water control structures and flood mitigation projects.
• Conduct stormwater analysis and design, including modeling and regulatory permitting.
• Mentor CAD designers and coordinate with internal and external teams.
