Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to lead multi-discipline teams delivering drainage, floodplain, and stormwater projects in Texas. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, mentor junior staff, and build trusted client relationships while advancing the firm’s growing Water Resources practice.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration, and business development, with opportunities to influence project strategy and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Texas PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 7+ years drainage engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water resources projects from planning through design and construction support.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to define scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise design teams.
• Develop project plans and quality management plans.
• Manage subcontractors and consultants and track project progress.
• Prepare progress reports and present status to clients.
