GEI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Engineer/Practice Leader to expand our water resource capabilities in Virginia.

The role combines technical leadership with business development, leading projects and staff across dam, levee, and water conveyance work while engaging with clients and professional groups. The candidate should possess a PE license, extensive project management experience, and a track record of growing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering or related field; M.S. preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical engineering with at least 10+ years in project management.
• Professional Engineering license required.

Responsabilités

• Lead growth in Virginia's Water Resource market, with technical leadership and oversight of projects and staff.
• Focus on business development and market expansion, including cross-selling services.
• Maintain high marketplace visibility through client contact and participation in industry events.
• Provide project management and technical assistance for dams, levees, and water control structures; mentor staff.
• Overnight travel approximately 10–20%.
