Job summary

Stantec is seeking a highly motivated Civil or Environmental Engineering Project Manager in its Water Sector for Florida. The role emphasizes water and wastewater conveyance, treatment design, and construction oversight across multiple projects.

You will lead design teams, coordinate with clients and leadership, and develop engineering reports, drawings, and cost estimates. A PE license and 12+ years' experience, preferably in FL, are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Master's degree preferred in Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Eng.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 12+ years of experience in design, construction, and management, preferably in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of design professionals and technicians or QA staff.
• Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Communicate status of scope, schedule, and budget with clients and leadership.
• Apply knowledge of treatment, wastewater collection, and water conveyance design.
• Prepare engineering reports, design drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Research issues related to wastewater and water resources for projects.
• Ensure project requirements are met on time and within budget.
• Provide construction engineering oversight for concurrent projects.
• Engage in local civil/public works organizations to promote the firm.
