Job summary

STV, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead projects from planning and design through construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions for clients.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 10+ years in water/wastewater projects, a Florida Professional Engineer license (or reciprocity), and strong technical writing, leadership, and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering, including project management experience.
• Florida Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
• Experience delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of water/wastewater engineering principles, design standards, and permitting requirements.
• Ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and client coordination.
• Strong technical writing, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical staff.
• Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and project site visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, design, permitting, and construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with subconsultants.
• Provide technical guidance and review engineering calculations, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Serve as a primary client contact and communicate project progress and recommendations.
• Coordinate with agencies for permitting and regulatory approvals.
• Monitor project financial performance and manage changes.
• Support proposals, fee estimates, client presentations and business development.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff development.
