Job summary

STV’s Water Practice Group in Tampa, Florida seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead projects from planning through construction, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining client relationships. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality while supporting business development and staff growth.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 10+ years in water/wastewater projects, and a Florida PE license or reciprocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering, including experience managing projects.
• Florida Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
• Experience delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater engineering principles, design standards, and permitting requirements.
• Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and project site visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, design, permitting, and construction support of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with subconsultants to meet project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and review engineering calculations, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Serve as a primary client contact and communicate project progress, technical recommendations, and decisions.
• Coordinate with local and state agencies to support permitting and regulatory approvals.
