Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Sr. Customer Support Specialist to deliver outstanding service to clients and act as escalation contact for waste treatment and disposal inquiries.

You will respond, process orders, troubleshoot, and coordinate with Sales, Operations and Billing to resolve issues promptly. Responsibilities include handling hazardous waste documents, pricing, and transportation logistics while mentoring junior staff and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of RCRA laws and waste characterization.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory and technical docs.
• Experience with accounting processes and billing inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for internal/external customers.
• Review manifests and Bills of Lading for hazardous waste.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Billing teams.
• Prepare shipping documents and pricing based on location.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and process adjustments.
• Provide quotes and schedule trucking for waste transport.
