Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Sr. Customer Support Specialist to deliver exceptional service and waste support to clients. You will act as the escalation point, respond to inquiries, process orders, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Sales, Operations, Billing, Transportation, and Approvals to meet customer needs.

Hybrid flexibility is offered in the Atlantic area, with emphasis on strong communication, data accuracy, and regulatory compliance to ensure timely, professional outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of customer-facing experience, preferably in waste disposal.
• Advanced knowledge of RCRA laws, regulations, and waste characterization.
• Ability to read and interpret complex regulatory docs and procedures.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Operations and Billing teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales reps to identify waste disposal solutions.
• Serve as liaison between customers and internal departments (Operations, Billing, Transportation, Approvals).
• Review hazardous waste manifests and non-hazardous BOLs.
• Create and maintain waste disposal profiles.
• Coordinate with transportation teams to schedule pickups.
• Resolve customer questions and service issues; support additional activities.
• Provide quotes, schedules, and organize trucking for waste transportation.
