Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead large-scale warehouse operations and optimize performance. You will build engaged teams, drive exceptional customer service, and deliver operational excellence in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

The role requires 5+ years of management experience in warehousing/distribution, a related bachelor’s degree, and a track record of improving KPIs through Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive management experience in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or 3PL environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Proven track record of leading leaders, including development of supervisors and cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing operations with 75-200 associates across multiple departments; larger-scale eCommerce experience preferred.
• Experience leading multi-client 3PL environments is preferred.
• Strong record of driving employee engagement and operational performance.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous process improvement.
• Experience in distribution center or manufacturing operations with productivity, quality, safety, and customer service metrics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop team performance through training, coaching, and motivation.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback.
• Implement strategies to ensure quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency, and meet KPIs.
• Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and damage-free; maintain records and reports.
• Help maintain warehouse security and inventory integrity.
• Implement continuous improvement action plans.
• Be flexible to work overtime and perform additional responsibilities.
