Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead within Contract Logistics in the United States. You will lead a team, coordinate staffing, safety, and performance, and drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles.

Strong knowledge of WMS and MHE is required to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. You will partner with leadership and HR to support DEI initiatives, manage schedules, and provide regular KPI-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5+ years of warehousing experience.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in a distribution environment.
• 1+ years of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Improvement.
• Knowledge of production and quality systems.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for warehouse operations and clocking in/out.
• Must read and comprehend written English.

Responsibilities

• Train new hires and provide ongoing training for staff.
• Support leadership and HR with DEI initiatives.
• Oversee associates, manage schedules, and track attendance.
• Ensure awareness and compliance with QSHE requirements.
• Provide reports and participate in weekly/monthly reviews.
• Analyze process improvements and implement next steps.
• Establish clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through continuous improvement.
• Participate in BRMs and QBRs, presenting KPIs to stakeholders.
• Meet with customers to achieve defined goals.
• Handle advanced tasks requiring judgment and analysis.
