Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead and develop a diverse team of Supervisors, optimize workflows, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations while driving cost reductions and productivity improvements.

You will partner with HR and site leadership for hiring, collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly, and report on KPIs to guide continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and foster a culture of heightened safety awareness.
• Compile reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Partner with HR and site leadership to ensure effective hiring of Supervisors and top talent alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt fulfillment of customer orders and satisfaction.
