Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) to lead and develop a diverse team across multiple facilities. You will implement efficient workflows, manage labor planning, and drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 1+ years of logistics experience, and 2+ years in supervision, with strong leadership and KPI reporting skills to support our national operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor planning, standardize processes, and adopt best practices to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold health and safety regulations to promote a culture of safety.
• Compile reports on KPIs such as productivity and accuracy to support decision making and continuous improvement.
• Promote open communication and collaboration across leadership and associates for alignment.
• Support hiring processes for Supervisors with HR and site leadership to attract top talent.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and enhance satisfaction.
